Sarah Taylor elected Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk
On Thursday 2 May 2024, Labour candidate Sarah Taylor was elected by Norfolk to be its Police and Crime Commissioner.
Standing alongside candidates from the Liberal Democrats, the Green Party and the previous incumbent Giles Orpen-Smellie, Sarah Taylor received 52,445 votes in a first past the post ballot system.
Sarah officially takes up office as Norfolk's PCC on Thursday 9 May 2024. One of her first tasks will be to consult with the public, partners and the police to set a Police, Crime and Community Safety Plan for the county.
