PCC's August Accountability meeting postponed
The Public Accountability Meeting (PAM) due to be held by Norfolk’s Police and Crime Commissioner on Wednesday August 3 has regrettably been postponed.
The meeting, where PCC Giles Orpen-Smellie puts questions submitted by people across Norfolk to the county’s Chief Constable and senior police officers and hears updates on the force’s progress on policing priorities, was due to be held in public for the first time.
But following a positive test for Covid, Giles will be isolating at home and a new date will be set for the meeting, which had been due to take place at the offices of Breckland Council at 10am on Wednesday.
Residents who had submitted questions to be raised at the meeting will be contacted directly and offered the opportunity to have their questions held over until the new meeting or to receive written responses.
A new meeting date will be arranged as soon as possible and will be advertised on the OPCCN website and social media channels.
