Panel to review PCC Chief Finance Officer appointment
PCC Lorne Green will meet with the Police and Crime Panel next week to ask that they confirm the appointment of a new Chief Finance Officer for the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Norfolk.Every PCC must, by law, appoint a Chief Finance Officer, and the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 requires Police and Crime Panels to review any proposed appointment.
That review must take the form of a public confirmation hearing, after which the Panel will make a report to the PCC.
The confirmation hearing for the Chief Finance Officer appointment will take place on Monday 25 February 2018 at County Hall. More information is available on the Norfolk County Council website.
